It's time to feel... THE FEAR! The Nightlord Project has come to a glorious finish. Finally the display and all the squads are finished. I couldn't be more proud.
Good Morning all. So the first one is already getting done. Forge World Dreadnought arrived first. Because of my overlooking I didn't notice that the Dreadnought is sold without any weapon options. So I had to make some of my loyalist Dread hands that I had in stock. I gave them a bit of a chaos taint and they fit nicely. Both hands are magnetized so it will be easy to swamp them when needed.
While the forces of mankind grow in strength, the Dark Angels master their new technology and regroup their forces. There is something which is growing in the shadows, far more dangerous than you could ever expect.....

The display base is finished. The base that is placed on the "lava" area is just a filing in for the Daemon Prince. Now it reminds me of a jin-jang symbol but soon it's going to get some nice colors It was quite fun building this terrain. I used a lot of crackling paint to make chaos waste land theme. When chaos is advancing, the volcanoes on the planet erupt shifting the landscape, causing disorientation to the defending troops. I just can't wait to peal the tape of the sides. It's going to be awesome. Literally days form finishing.
Finally got around to post some pics of my Hussar 2012 entry. In this category I had to compete with Karol Rudyk, Slayer sword winner, C'tan and the winner of Hussar Nakatan so there is no shame that I didn't win anything but still I'm proud of this guy. I made him from Dark Angel chapter upgrade kit plus new Raven wing raider torso from Dark Vengeance I really liked the head piece with the hood falling down like that. It's just awesome sauce all over. For the Blood on the Chainsword I have to thank Marta from Twisted Brushes. As for the temple tiles c'tan's tutorial came in handy.
